Pneumatic Speargun Shafts with Rock Point and Barb for Spearfishing, Freediving, and Scuba Diving

The 17-4PH stainless steel speargun shaft is hardened and spring tempered, with a Rockwell of 44C, offering optimal hardness and spring tension while resisting oxidation. With a diameter of 5/16" (8mm), it features a Rockpoint on one end and 6mm threads on the other.

The specially manufactured 2-angle cut speartip "Rockpoint" provides excellent penetration and retains sharpness when shot against hard surfaces such as rocks and shipwrecks. In addition to the shaft, the spear includes a heavy-duty, thick gauge 3" barb/flopper, a slide ring, a spring, a plastic line retainer, and a threaded butt adapter, all made of stainless steel.

These 8mm (5/16") spears are compatible with pneumatic spearguns that come with an 8mm (5/16") spear from the factory, offering increased strength, rigidity, and accuracy for targeting larger fish. It is important to select the correct end adapter to fit your specific speargun. The Mares Cyrano adapter can also be used with other speargun models that come from the factory with a 7mm spear, and the adapter can be replaced to accommodate different brands and models of pneumatic spearguns. These 7.1mm (9/32") spears are suitable for use with many pneumatic spearguns that originally came with an 8mm (5/16") spear, provided that the correct end adapter is used.
