5/16 Pneumatic Speargun Shafts for Spearfishing, Freediving, and Scuba Diving

Introducing the new product description for our 17-4PH hardened, spring tempered stainless steel speargun spear shafts. These shafts are specifically designed to provide the best combination of hardness and spring tension while also resisting oxidation. With a diameter of 5/16" (8mm), featuring a Rock point on one end and 6mm threads on the other, these spears are of high quality and durability.

The specially manufactured 2 angle cut Speartip "Rockpoint" ensures great penetration and stays sharp longer when used against hard surfaces such as rocks and shipwrecks. Each spear includes a stainless steel heavy-duty, thick gauge 3" barb / flopper, stainless steel slide ring, stainless steel spring, plastic line retainer, and stainless steel threaded butt adapter.

These 8mm (5/16") spears are compatible with any pneumatic speargun that comes from the factory with an 8mm (5/16") spear. The increased thickness of these spears provides added strength and rigidity to prevent heavier fish from bending the spear, as well as improving accuracy. It is important to choose the correct end adapter to fit your speargun.

We offer a range of different end adapters to ensure compatibility with your specific speargun. It is worth noting that the Mares Cyrano adapter is also compatible with any other speargun that comes with a 7mm spear from the factory. The adapter can be easily replaced to use this spear with different brands and models of pneumatic spearguns.

In addition to our 8mm (5/16") spears, we also offer 7.1mm (9/2") spears that are suitable for use on many pneumatic spearguns that come with an 8mm (5/16") spear originally. Please remember to choose the correct end adapter for a perfect fit.
